C/MEO COLLECTIVE previewed their resort collection on the runway at MBFWA.
This is the second time the Australian Fashion labels brand has shown at Carriageworks. The runway was segmented by seating in the middle which made for cool zig zag choreography as models stomped their way towards the end of the runway.

Even though under a new name C/MEO COLLECTIVE, previously shown as just Cameo the label, the forward thinking aesthetics and design were still present with the collection.

It was interesting to see how well the collection fitted within the resort scheduling as the label produces eleven collections per year.  Each collection is created around a central theme inspiring strong prints, shapes and fabrics.

Which didn't disappoint with the right mix of tailoring and fabrics to suit a modern resort buyer. There was a softness in colour palette which worked well with the bold silhouettes and sharp tailoring details. Length of skirts, wide legged pants; minimal layering and just the right amount of skin showing made for a sophisticated fashion forward resort collection.
