SALLY PHILLPS AW 16

Sally Phillips showcase of her AW 2016 collection was a well polished runway show. With styling from Nicole Bonythan - Hynes and runway setup on par with MBFWA. The addition of bold white columns to hide the rigging with hanging black lights reflected a raw and simplistic backdrop to the collection at the Published art house.

The collection progressed through monochrome styled looks and a few key patterns along with plenty of texture from fringing to soft leather luxe.
The layering wasn't too heavy and was well balanced between fabrics used.Standout ponchos to lighter vests and traditional blazers were all featured. There was a definite nod to the wild west reflected by use of the hats and neck detailing of accessories;but without going too overboard.

Overall the collection was versatile as a winter collection should be with plenty of options to choose from to take you from day wear to evening. The collection is shown privately by appointment only with the autumn winter range been delivered in May.
